Sacred KingfisherTodiramphus sanctus The Sacred Kingfisher resembles a Kookaburra with blue wings and tail and a distinctive head stripe, less poignant on the female. Its call is a well-known "kee kee kee" and can be heard over most of Australia, excluding central desert regions. The Sacred Kingfisher feeds on insects, small reptiles, fish and crustaceans.
